Mt. Davidson is the tallest mountain point in San Francisco. It's a really lovely hike to get to the top. There is a memorial for the Armenian genocide located at the top.

Great hiking trails in the canyon, sometimes you may see a coyote. Great rocks for climbing and great for dogs. There is also a playground and tennis courts at the front of the canyon.

This old fashioned mechanical museum holds some fascinating history before arcade games existed. It is located in the very popular and touristy Fisherman's Wharf area. If you can manage the crowds, stop and see this little museum.

I like to take my son here to see the sea lions at the end of the pier. There are restaurants, shopping, arcade, and a lot of great sightseeing in this area. Be warned, it is very crowded!

The location is quiet and out of the way if you are looking for a more low key environment. It's right next to the beach, so perhaps a walk before dinner would be great, but dress warmly if you want to spend time outside.
