Fantastic little town on the edge of the Ribble Valley. Lots of choice for drinking and eating, as well as usual local amenities like, butchers, bakers, supermarkets, fuel, florists, gyms, takeaways, etc. Local parks, fells are very close by.

- Brendan Andertons Butchers (great local meats)
- Little Town Dairy Farm shop and Cafe (super all day breakfast, proper homemade cakes, best coffee in Longridge)
- The Palace Cinema (old school one screen cinema, plays the national anthem before films, full bar)
- Applejacks, Tap and Vent, Hoppy Days (Longridge's micropubs)
- The Potting Shed (THE place for afternoon tea, very good seasonal salads)

The main town in the Ribble Valley - quaint and friendly. Lots to see and do: Norman castle, large park, gallery, independent shops, great wine merchant, coffee places, bars and eateries. The outdoor market's held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
