FAVORITE RESTAURANTS 1.Leventis Taverna has excellent cretan disches with beautiful view to the olive grooves. 2.Katsaroles Taverna. The food is fantastic and the view from the restaurant is great. BEACHES 1.In the northwest of the island, 57 km from Chania, Falassarna is maybe the most beautiful beach of the island. 2.Kedrodasos is located southwest of Chania and is a real Cretan oasis with turquoise waters and very cool atmosphere. Indeed, here you will not even need to bring an umbrella, as cedars provide the necessary shade.It is located 76km southwest of Chania. 3.Gialiskari beach: East of Paleochora village,is a small treasure of small beaches. (Paleochora is located 70 Km from the city of Chania). PLACES YOU SHOULD VISIT 1.Chania old Town 2.Samaria gorge. Pull on your walking shoes and hike the gorge (about 17Km walk) during your visit in Creta. If you have time and energy, this is a must. PLACES FOR ENTIRE FAMILY. Limnoupolis water park. OTHER PLACES TO GO 1.Graves of Venizelos family. It is a monument known for not only the historical background but also for the green and the view. It is located 5Km from Chania city. If you get there you should visit Koukouvaya restaurant.
