Naturally, Signal Hill is a must-see. Especially since it's right across the street! There is a trail at the top of the Cul-De-Sac across the street that takes you to Quidi Vidi, the Battery (Village), and Signal Hill. There's a pretty good map on the trail.

Can't recommend this little village enough. Walk down the road or the Quidi Vidi Lake trail to this little spot. There's a brewery there, Mallard Cottage, the Quidi Vidi Plantation (great local crafts!), and an overall great spot.
