Mt. Rose ski area is a Reno/Tahoe locals resort. It is 15 minutes from the condo with the highest base elevation in Tahoe, which allows for great snow. It has excellent terrain for all levels of skiers. It is one of the last locally owned resorts in the Tahoe Basin. If you choose to go to Mt. Rose and you are an advanced skier I highly recommend parking on the East Bowl side. That side has parking right by the lift and crowds are minimal.

This is our private beach with a swimming pool. You can walk from the condo but it is about a mile. You may access it during the off season without a pass. During the months of May-September you will need to use beach passes that are provided.
