Nice and cozy place, designed and run by world famous puppet theatre director Rezo Gabriadze. Great coffee, amazing apple pie, original dishes, but kind of pricey. Make sure you've booked a table, in the evening it's very busy.

Even if you don't like ice-cream, you'll love it after you try one in Luca Polare. It's produced in Georgia, very natural, have a great variety of tastes, including even several vegan and diabetic types. They also bake delicious cakes, brew good coffee, and work late in the night - up to 1 am! Google them to find all branches.

Nice and calm nature just in the middle of the city. A good place to relax, lots of cafes with a very good overview of the lake. It'll cost only 4 GEL and take 15 minutes by taxi from our place.

Parks & Nature

National Botanical Garden is a great place to goo if you seek fresh air, amazing nature and a quiet shelter in the busiest part of the city. The ultimate place to escape from heat in summer. You can reach it either by air tram from Rike Park or walk up along a beautiful historical cobblestone street.

Sightseeing

Iconic Tbilisi castle, established in the 4th century, is an absolute must. Absolutely spectacular views of the whole city from the battlements, interesting neighborhood (don't forget to visit Botanical Garden, which is only 5 minutes away from it). You can get there either by foot along the old streets of Tbilisi, or take an aerial tram from Rike Park.

My number 1 place to visit in Tbilisi. Stroll down the Apkhazi (former Leselidze) Street from Freedom Square till Meidan. Peep in all small streets going in all possible directions, catch the nightlife vibe on Shardeni Str, visit the main cathedral Sioni, enjoy the mixture of ancient market Karvasla, which is now an abode for contemporary artists and quality souvenirs.

Another must-visit place in Tbilisi. First of all, be sure to visit world-famous Sulfur Baths. They consist of several parts and each has its own name. Along the paved hill, highest of all is the Mirzoev’s bath - they have the best Mekise (special masseurs) in town. Don't miss your chance and ask for this massage - it's not pricey, and you'll feel as a newborn after it. In this bath you can ask for a separate room. If you're ok to share your relax time with others, go to Public Bath #5 (just ask someone in the neighborhood - they'll show you both). It's much cheaper, and they still have this special massage and all other stuff except for the private rooms. After experiencing all these unique bathing rituals, you can enjoy the view in one of the many cafes and restaurants of Abanotubani. Or you can go behind the Chreli (colourful) Bath, and you'll find yourself in a secluded park called the Fig Gorge, with a waterfall and fairytalish bridges.
