Donguri Shijo-Kawaramachi

Nijo Castle
541 Nijōjōchō1994年（平成6年）にはユネスコの世界遺産（世界文化遺産）に「古都京都の文化財」として登録されている。 徳川家康の将軍宣下に伴う賀儀と、徳川慶喜の大政奉還が行われ、江戸幕府の始まりと終焉の場所でもある。
写真などでよく見かける「清水の舞台」と呼ばれる所は本堂にあたる場所で「清水の舞台から飛び降りる」という言葉が残っているくらい高い場所にある建築物ですからそこからは京都の町並みを見下ろす事ができる絶景ポイントという事で多くの観光客が訪れるスポットです。 境内に、地主神社も隣接しており、恋愛の祈願に多くの人が訪れる。
