Parks & Nature
This park is very close and has great paved and unpaved walking trails. Follow the Scott's Branch Trail through Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary, Columbia Audubon Nature Sanctuary, and Dublin Park and back for a nice three mile walk. Several walking paths loops diverge from the trail in Bonnie View. Please note, dogs are not permitted on or off the trail in the portion that passes through the Audubon Nature Sanctuary.

There are numerous trails that wonder through Rock Bridge State Park, but the best and most popular is the Devil's Icebox Trail. This trail will take you down into a sink hole and cave. It's constantly cool down there, so this is a great place to go during the summer. If it's hot out, or if you want to see another great geological feature, visit the park's name sake rock bridge. A stream flows through under the rock bridge, so this is another great place to keep cool. The rock bridge and Devil's Icebox are both accessible from the same parking lot in Rock Bridge State Park.

The Columns are the iconic symbol of the University of Missouri. As the only remains of a university building that burnt down over a hundred years ago, the columns sit in the middle of Mizzou's Francis Quad. If you're on campus, I recommend a visit.

Mizzou Arena hosts a variety of sports and entertainment events. Home to Mizzou's men's and women's basketball games, Mizzou Arena also hosts concerts by some of the most popular artists in the country. This really is a great place to see a game or watch a show.

Faurot Field is home to Mizzou's football team. If you're in town during the fall, there's a good chance you might be able to catch a game. To get the full experience, show up an hour or so before hand and catch a concert before the game and take part in some essential football tailgating.
