If you are lucky enough to be in town when these tours are open, and you want to paddle the Hudson for 3-4 hours, this is a great option.
Tours include kayak guide, kayak equipment, a tour of Bannerman Island with a Bannerman Castle Trust historian. Approximately 3-4 hours.

Drive to Long dock park, (Just behind the Beacon Train station,) there should be plenty of parking. There are many easy trails with views of the Hudson river. If you make it all the way to the tip of Dennings Point and aren’t grossed out, I recommend going for a quick swim in the Hudson!

Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. If you have a car and haven’t been, we highly recommend a visit. Storm King is about a 40 minute drive from the apartment.
