Thor Central is now the beating heart of the Thor Park site. The Food Plaza is worth a visit in its own right, with the Partaasch restaurant and Lampada brasserie open to the public every day. Did you know that the clever cycle route network where you cycle from junction to junction is a Limburg invention? 2000 km of metalled, safe and mostly car-free cycle paths. And the well-known blue signs along the route ensure that you don’t get lost. It's just relaxed cycling!
In Pijnven you can cycle through the trees. Cycling through a forest environment is a special experience for the senses. This cycle path safely takes you into higher realms. Het Itterdal met Pollismolen (parking en startplaats) is een vrij smalle vallei die werd geboetseerd door de Itterbeek die zich een weg snijdt door het Kempens Plateau. Je bent hier op de grens van het Kempen~Broek en de droge, Hoge Kempen. De beken zorgen niet alleen voor reliëf maar ook voor variatie in het landschap: kronkelende beken met natte moerassen, weilanden met houtkanten, loofbossen van eiken en berken, maar ook aangeplante naaldbossen. Er staan ook enkele watermolens.

Via mijnschachten met een knisperende transportband, een roestige sorteermachine en een door instorting gehavende elektriciteitskamer kom je terecht op verschillende banen die bezaaid zijn met pikhouwelen en laarzen. Een drilboor doet de baan trillen en de machinekamer van de verlaten mijn is nog in volle bedrijvigheid! Met een ontsteker breng je dynamiet tot ontploffing en beginnen tunnelmachines te graven. Hiermee open je de toegang tot de goudmijn, en wat glinstert daar? Diamanten? Maar wat is dat voor geluid en wat ruikt daar zo beangstigend? Pas op voor de gevaren in ‘De Mijn’!
