Bring your comfys because during the summer season our temperatures are hot and muggy. Get your sun hat and bring plenty of short- sleeved, loose fitting clothing. We are a sportsman paradise and outside activities are our specialty and we stay cool by taking dips in our many lakes and beaches.

Lake Charles transit system provides Bus service Monday through Friday from 5:45 A.M. through 5:45 P.M. (except on City holidays). There is an on- line schedule for your convenience .
