Coffee! We are huge coffee snobs and have found the best cafe in San Jose to be in the downtown, SoFA neighborhood. Academic Coffee is the name of that shop. If you’re looking for something closer to home, you can try Voyager Coffee’s location near Santa Clara University. They do baked goods well.

Santana Row is our area's spot for higher-end eats, drinks, and shopping. The outdoor mall offers a movie theater as well. It's an excellent place for weekend people watching and to get a taste of the San Jose nightlife scene without having to visit the more lively and less luxurious downtown area.

Japan Town - Just a 5-minute drive toward downtown, the Japan Town area offers great, authentic Japanese food and drink spots. There’s a fun karaoke bar, a great pizza joining (J-Town Pizza), and a few great murals to check out while you walk around.
