Outdoors
At the northwestern edge of town, the river passes through the forested reaches of Riverside State Park. A popular camping, picnicking, and whitewater rafting spot in the park is known as the Bowl and Pitcher area. This name comes from the striking basaltic rock formations seen here. A fun, easy walk to break up your day!

Sightseeing
If you want to skip all the walking and would rather sit in comfort, the SkyRide gondola offers a 20-minute fly-over for a bird’s eye view. Considered one of the best cable car rides in the world, you’ll gradually descend 200 feet for some great vantage points. The iconic lilac gondolas seat up to six people and are ADA compliant.

Spokane Falls Skyride

Take in a view of the Spokane skyline from the Pavilion's sky bridge, take a ride on the hand-carved Looff Carrousel and Numerica Skyride, then take a spin on Skate Ribbon. Got the kids? Enjoy Providence park for the littles, and Ice Age park for the older ones. It's always a treat to stroll around the park and look for the GIANT wagon slide, famous "Garbage Goat", and play at the splash pad!
