The bustling market town of Sudbury is the home of Thomas Gainsborough, there is a museum dedicated to Thomas. The Mill hotel by the water meadows is a fantastic place to walk the dog and have a coffee over looking the river Stour. It has everything you would want for a nice day out shopping and dining, sightsee the historic buildings as you meander or take a coffee in the Market Square.

The bustling market town of Sudbury is the home of Thomas Gainsborough, there is a museum dedicated to Thomas. Bures is a great location for a walk to the famous Bures Dragon, we have a local map in the cottage for this very popular walk. Bures situated on the river Stour is a favourite for Kayaking and generally a bit of a chill out.

Wow! What a beauty Dedham Vale is - in my opinion a must see visit. Row your boat at Flat Ford Mill, meaner the footpaths and take a picnic and sit by the River Stour.
