The bustling market town of Sudbury is the home of Thomas Gainsborough, there is a museum dedicated to Thomas. The Mill hotel by the water meadows is a fantastic place to walk the dog and have a coffee over looking the river Stour. It has everything you would want for a nice day out shopping and dining, sightsee the historic buildings as you meander or take a coffee in the Market Square.

The bustling market town of Sudbury is the home of Thomas Gainsborough, there is a museum dedicated to Thomas. The Mill hotel by the water meadows is a fantastic place to walk the dog and have a coffee over looking the river Stour. Bures is a great location for a walk to the famous Bures Dragon, we have a local map in the cottage for this very popular walk. Bures situated on the river Stour is a favourite for Kayaking and generally a bit of a chill out.

Arger Fen local nature reserve and Spouse's Vale managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust lies in Dedham Vale an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, awash with Bluebells if your visiting when they are out, is just beautiful.

Wow! What a beauty Dedham Vale is - in my opinion a must see visit. Row your boat at Flat Ford Mill, meaner the footpaths and take a picnic and sit by the River Stour.

Polstead is a typical English village with a large pond and a beautiful Village Green with a large tree set in the middle opposite the Cock Public House. It's a great location for a circular walk and back to the pub for refreshments.
