A family owned premiere winery only minutes from the casita with a beautiful tasting room and outdoor tasting areas. They have many varietal wines and are well known for excellent Pinot noir and Chardonnay and Syrah.

This is a flat trail along a creek great for strolling and families. It is also good for jogging. After about 2-3 miles you reach the town of Avila beach with options for food and beverages or a walk on the beach with toes in the sand. Allow 2-3 hours for the round trip, longer if you stop to eat.

3550 Pecho Valley RdThis is a nice flat walk over the bluffs at the ocean with spectacular views of the pacific and the coastline. It starts near spooner’s cove and heads south. Convenient parking off the road near the start. You can do this walk in 1-2 hours.
This is a 2 hour hike of moderate difficulty which leads to a peak with spectacular 360 degrees views of ocean and interior valleys.
