Allegheny River Valley Trail is a paved loop that starts at St. Bonaventure University, travels along the river into the City of Olean and loops back into the town of Allegany. The main trail is a 5.6 mile loop while there is also a shorter, paved loop that cuts through St. Bonaventure University if that is your preference. This trail is for walking, running or biking.

Letchworth State Park is about an hour drive from Allegany but is well worth the trip. Beautiful views with multiple hiking trails, water falls, gorges and picnic areas. The Glen Iris Inn offers meals and beverage.
