Known as "Nashville's Wine Country" and co-owned by Country Music artist Kix Brooks, Arrington Vineyards is located only a few miles from our cottage. Its beautiful 95 acre property includes 16 acres of vineyards, five tasting rooms, gorgeous views, shaded picnic areas, live music on weekends (April to November), and plenty of free parking. They produce and bottle all twenty-one of their award-winning wines onsite.
They're open daily. No reservations needed.
Monday through Thursday 11am - 8pm
Friday 11am - 9pm
Saturday 11am - 8pm
Sunday 12pm - 8pm
Their Pavilion is open for purchasing AV wines, wine tasting flights, frosé, snacks, and merchandise.
All picnic tables and seating are first come, first serve. Pack a blanket or lawn chairs to lounge comfortably on the hillside.
You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages but if you forget or would rather purchase some onsite they have plenty to offer. They have crackers, cheese, meats, a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, and more!

Henry Horton State Park was constructed in the 1960s on the estate of the former governor of Tennessee, Henry Horton. The park is located on the shores of the historic Duck River, one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Remnants of a mill and bridge operated and used by the family of Horton’s spouse for over a century may be seen today on the Wilhoite Mill Trail.
The Governor's Table Restaurant and Tipped Canoe Louge are a destination for travelers and locals.
The park offers canoeing, camping, lodging, hiking, biking, swimming, golfing, disc golf, fishing, guided river floats, birding, trap and skeet and other activities.
