This is one of the tallest sets of waterfalls in the United States east of the Mississippi River. five major cascades and a number of smaller ones that fall a total of 1,200 ft. Make sure you stay on the trail!! Mist from the falls makes the rocks slippery!!! It is located in the George Washington National Forest in Nelson County, off VA state route 56.

On a clear day you'll see 7 mountain ridges. You may also want to take a leisurelystroll around Lake Abbott to see the wildlife.
