If you like history this is a fantastic historic village, five minutes from the centre of Matamata.
There is an old school, post office, church, fire station, police station with cell, cottage, a large building full of old farm machinery and much more. You can walk to the top of the tower in the photo above and view the surrounding farm land. Take a picnic.

There is an old school, post office, church, fire station, police station with cell, cottage, a large building full of old farm machinery and much more. You can walk to the top of the tower in the photo above and view the surrounding farm land. Take a picnic.
