In Gdańsk we haven't got to much famous paintings (maybe beside City Hall and Red Chamber), but we have the one! The Hans Memling's "Last Judgement". Must see... nope... Must contemplate!
I will just leave here too. The story "how" Gdańsk has received this painting is as cool as stories of Pirates. In general this is story about the pirates! :D

Probably you will not find it in the tourists guides about Gdańsk. Rare example of authentic city district, the home of Brunon Zwarra (city legend and writer). Forgotten by the citizens but still beautiful, simply one of a kind.

Jedno z moich ulubionych miejsc w Gdańsku to Góra Gradowa i Forty, mało kto z turystów wspina się na wały, a szkoda, bo jest tam najlepszy widok na stare miasto. I tak, przebywanie jest legalne, są nawet wytyczone ścieżki i muzeum - centrum edukacji dla dzieci Hevellianum. Niemniej czasem warto przejść pod drzewem i zobaczyć więcej :)
A nocą, jak się poszczęści i będzie wypadać dzień wielkiego księżyca, to już jest kwintesencja.
One of my favourite place is Gradowa Hill (or Forts), only small number of tourists walk there, but it is one of the best places to watch the city, the best view point is there.
And this is legal, don't worry you will find paths there as well as museum with kids educational zone. However it is sometimes worth to drop the line and pass under the tree to explore more :)
