Absolutely worth a visit most of the time. Some new, some old artists exposed in the building that was the first museum in Tromso, opened in 1894. Lovely place.

A beautiful little fjord with a small village 20 minutes drive from town center. I have visited this with most of my guests that want to see fjords (many from Brazil/Latin America). Very relaxing place, with some silversmiths and other small craftsmen. Lovely café named "Bryggejenten"/"Quay-girls" serves good coffee and easy meals.

Very relaxing place, with some silversmiths and other small craftsmen. Lovely café named "Bryggejenten"/"Quay-girls" serves good coffee and easy meals.

From the island you see the open sea - next stop is Greenland, I suppose ... A popular hotel, a small café, a small food store etc. Reindeers are often seen before entering the island.
About one hour drive from town center.
