The Sun Valley Lodge and it's surrounding village, including where the oldest chair lift in Sun Valley still stands on the hill behind the Nordic center is worth the visit. Lots of places to eat for all budgets. Warm cozy fires and bars with live music as well. Don't forget there is also the bowling alley for that rainy day when you don't know what else to do.

We are fond of the hikes raound Cathedral pines, especially Chocolate Gulch, Easley Gulch and the hike along the Big Wood River which you can also do cross country skiing on in the winter. It is breathtaking in it's scope and beauty and the exercise is great.

Defnitely a high light for Sun Valley in the summer. The free concerts by the acclaimed Sun Valley Symphony is not to be missed. Come and sit on the grass outside of the pavillion for a picnic and enjoy not only the concert with the Grass flat screens but also the breath taking views of Dollar as the sun goes down. But bring a sweater as when the sun goes down in the summer it gets chilly.
