Plenty of walks directly from the cottage the river being just around the corner. The castle walk is 2 minutes away. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Richmond has everything you need for a fabulous break.

The Cottage is self-contained, with excellent facilities, furnishings, a private patio, access to the garden and off road parking. A lockable shed is available for cycles and there is space for cars and m'bikes to be parked off road. One medium/2 small dogs welcome, contact host. Situated between the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and close to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is plenty to do and see in the area. Richmond, market town is close by.

Built in the 1600s, Puzzle Cottage is the oldest property in the village and is believed to have been the falconry for Bolton Castle. Whilst advertised to sleep 2 guests comfortably in the 1 bedroom, There is a sofa that pulls out to make a 2nd double bed. The Market Place is the hub of Richmond boasting an array shops, restaurants and bars. Cultural activities include the famous Georgian Theatre, Richmond Castle & Museums. - Due to stairs, not suitable for infants or those with limited mobility.

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.
