Portland harbour is a mere 2 miles away as is the World famous Chesil Beach which forms part of the Jurassic coast. South West Coast Path is minutes walk away, perfect for a stop over.

The New Forest offers endless opportunities for adventure, relaxation, and exploration.

The cottage backs onto paddocks where the owners shetland ponies, pet sheep and chickens live and our younger guests are welcome to come and meet them.

It’s only a 20 min drive to the medieval city of Salisbury and 30-40 min drive to the sandy beaches of the South Coast. We have a friendly local village shop and pub within walking distance, and a fabulous ‘water-hole’ for swimming a few mins walk down the lane.
