Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Located in the country woods it sits far enough off the road for amazing privacy. This is a brand new home with lots of amazing features. Every room features a smart tv with memory foam mattress beds. Located close to several wedding venues. Downtown Monroe is within 10 mins and Athens is located within 25 mins. Welcome to Sunset Cottage. Built in 2020, this home gets its name from its gorgeous sunset views! Enjoy days on the lake with your own dock and a relaxing evening around the firepit or in the brand new hot tub. You're on lake time with a main bedroom and fully equipped kitchen on level 1 plus 2 additional bedrooms, a bar, and bunk bed on the terrace level! With outside porches on two levels, you won't miss the gorgeous sunset! We loved this house so much after staying here -we bought it! :-)

Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

Positioned on a shaded waterfront lot, this recently renovated home features an open floor plan. It has a spacious, well stocked kitchen. The dining table seats six, but there are plenty of outdoor tables also. The living area has plenty of seating with a mounted flat screen TV. There is a bathroom with a washer and dryer located on the main floor. The second floor boasts two bedrooms and a full bathroom, while the third floor loft area has 4 twin size beds, perfect for children and teens.
