Everything is provided for your comfort, from crisp linen and super-comfy beds, luxury bathrooms, a contemporary fitted kitchen, wifi and effective heating in every room. Foulbog is a charming traditional shepherds cottage set on a working hill farm in rural Dumfriesshire. In a very remote location surrounded by rolling hills, with spectacular views down the valley. Although completely remote and secluded, this cottage has been recently refurbished with a cosy homely feel and has all the modern amenities needed including unlimited WiFi, luxury shower and log burners. The perfect place to relax and unwind with only the sheep & cattle for company.

The Bothy is ideally located just 4 minutes drive from junction 15 of the A74(M). It is in large gardens surrounded by woodland and farmland. There is free parking beside the cottage. The porch has plenty of room for hiking boots, coats and dog leads and seating to relax and watch the rabbits. The two bedrooms have excellent mattresses and thick toppers for a good nights sleep. One bedroom has a wide desk that can also be used as a dressing table. The other has a 3 seat sofa.

Set within 30 acres of beautiful pastoral farmland this quirky conversion is a peaceful rural retreat, but is ideally located for all that the region has to offer. A stones throw from some of Scotland’s finest unspoiled and quiet beaches and within driving distance of all of the 7stanes mounting biking trails for those looking for a little more adventure.

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.
