Situated close to the beautiful brecon beacons and only 1/2 a mile away from the popular bike park Wales, this is a great spot for bikers, hikers and ramblers, you can pick up the taff trail which is around 1/2 a mile away which goes all the way south to Cardiff and North to Brecon. And only 15mins away from the world's fastest seated zip line.. Within a mile is a popular leisure village consisting of a Vue cinema, bowling and many food outlets including Macdonalds, Harvester, Subway, Nando’s.

The Roost Merthyr Tydfil is a small self-catering cabin site tucked away in a quiet spot. Our location and set up are perfect for bikers, hikers and outdoor lovers. Our bespoke, cosy cabins sleep two adults and two children. They have big comfy beds, heaters, power and in-cabin bike/gear storage. Bodlawen has an allocated shower room but does not have a kitchen. BikePark Wales is a short ride away, we're on the Taff Trail (cycle route 8) and a short drive from the Brecon Beacons National Park.
