You can also fish here all year round! Community pool/gym/dock/boat ramp/picnic area available within walking distance (~5 blocks away - Cabin is not on the water, see map). Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cabin in the forest. Walk a few hundred yards to the Beautiful Lone Star Trail in Sam Houston National Forest. This forest cabin has access to a fishing pier on a fully stocked with native fish (no license required), please follow lake rules. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy the lake. Lot's of scenery (forest, wildlife, lakes, countryside, etc), you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera!

Escape to our quaint, cozy cabin just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 3 miles from The Blue Lagoon. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.
