Close to many public boat ramps.Equipped with a full kitchen and living room, this cabin sleeps up to six people with a full bath. Ample parking for ATV/snowmobile trailers. The cabin is a short drive to Calumet, Hancock, and Houghton.

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

High speed wifi and streaming services too. 1 queen bedroom, 1 queen sleeper sofa, and space for air mattress. Very comfortable and extremely well maintained. You are sure to fall in love with the cottage at this private and secluded (besides our other rentals) location on Lake Superior. Just a short 5 min drive to Calumet, and 10 from Houghton/Hancock.

Cozy & Clean Chassell Roadside Cottage

This is a non-smoking studio type cottage with a queen bed and futon. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, sink, double burner hotplate, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Kitchen essentials are provided. Bathroom towels and bedding are also provided. Cottage also has a grill, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and Netflix. (SORRY, NO PETS. NO SMOKING, OR PARTIES ALLOWED. $400 fine) Chassell beach is two blocks away, and hiking trails are 1 block. MTU is a 10 minute drive.

Located 1 mile from Michigan Tech, 2.5 miles from downtown, and right next to the Tech Trails, this property affords direct access to over 600 acres of world class nordic skiing, hiking and biking - all right outside the door! With a warm luxury lodge-like feel, wood fireplace, sauna, finished lower level (including a Ping Pong table) and a large private yard surrounded by woods, it's perfect for couples, families, or larger groups.

The Retro Roost: Walk to MTU and Downtown Houghton

- Walking distance to MTU campus, Jim's grocery store, downtown Houghton, and 20 miles of ski/bike/hike trails - Retro, cozy and private one-bed/bath unit with a kitchenette and attached garage Park in the garage and walk directly into the unit! Hosts Adam and Jana live upstairs with their family and dogs. There is a cot, and a fold out couch in addition to a queen size bed, for extra sleepers, if needed.

Welcome to a century old mining house! A Very comfortable home with a large double lot. Located in the middle of paradise with Lake Superior not far from us in any direction. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main snowmobile/Atv trail, close to Mont Ripley, Swedetown, Mont Bohemia. We are centrally located between Houghton (20 miles away), Copper Harbor (25 miles away) and Calumet (5 miles). A great value.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the Silver River. A cozy log cabin beautifully hand crafted by the owner himself. There is one queen size bed along with a futon that folds out into a twin bed and a convertible couch which also folds down into a twin bed. Enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, 4 wheeling, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, hunting and much more!

Welcome to Walden! Walden is a couples retreat. Our cabin is brand new construction. It has an open layout, large windows, full kitchen and living room. One bedroom and bathroom complete with washer and dryer. Walden is tucked into the trees on a private lot. The deck is the best spot to sit and let the sun wash over you. At night its quiet and the stars are bright.
