Scenic Mountain Home

With gorgeous views of Lake Biwa east, forests and mountains nearby, we are surrounded by nature. Biwako Valley ski & scenic resort is nearby; Kyoto is just 35 minutes away by local train. Hiking trails are nearby, Lake Biwa 1 km away. Guests are welcome to interact with us, and our dogs, upstairs. If coming by train, inquire about us picking you up at Horai station before reserving. This is a residential neighborhood but we arrange rides down and up. Due to regulations, we can't serve dinner.

Peace&One is located in the middle of Mt.Shakushi, the sacred mountain of Northern Mt.Fuji area. We use 100% natural mineral spring water for drinking and bathing. We have good sound system cafe&bar. The price include shuttle from Mt.Fuji station, mineral water, ice, breakfast. You can also enjoy the outdoor extreme sauna for 2,000yen per person and BBQ equipment rental for 1,000yen per person. Saturday and day before holiday is difficult to reserve. Looking forward seeing you!

We are a four-generation oyster and cockle aquaculture farmer and we have been sharing our home and serving guests for over 40 years! We have traditional tatami rooms that overlook the beautiful Kumihama Bay and a walking distance to Shotenkyo Beach. Other activities include hiking, biking, visiting temples and shrines, enjoying sakura festival, experience Kinosaki Onsen, surfing, Shore Fishing or Deep Sea Fishing, golf and finally, do Oyester aquafarming with us!
