Welkom in het historisch charmante Shipp Haus c.1891. Gebouwd, door Dr. Shipp, in 1891, staat Shipp Haus geregistreerd in het National Register of Historic Places. De woning beschikt over twee Airbnb-ruimtes , een hoofdsalon en een eigenaarssuite. De belangrijkste salon opereerde als een antiekwinkel voor enkele decennia, en is nu de thuisbasis van Shipphaus Mercantile. Winkel online voor het perfecte unieke cadeau, originele kunstwerken, nieuwe reistas of een aantal lokale Hillsboro gemaakte items.

Onze hut heeft 2 full size bedden boven in de loft en een comfortabele queensize bank die ook een fatsoenlijk bed maakt. Er staat een kleine tafel en stoelen. Er is ook een grotere koelkast op de overdekte veranda aan de achterkant.

Just 10 minutes to town for all your essential needs. If you like hiking, fishing, and boating Rocky Fork State Park, and Paint Creek are within a half hour drive. Come enjoy a getaway at this peaceful, unique cabin with convenient, easy access to Rocky Fork lake- just down the road from the boat ramp. Hiking trails, fishing, boating and playgrounds all within a few minutes drive. While this is a true disconnect and place of relaxation- we do have neighbors nearby. 10 minutes from Amish stores and bakery and 10 miles from downtown Hillsboro. Unwind at the end of your day in the hot tub. No pets or parties allowed.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the heart of Paint Creek Lake and Rocky Fork Lake and many hiking trails. Amish built pole barn style building high up on a hill on an 8 acre property near the Highlands Nature Sanctuary. The gravel driveway goes up hill & non-AWD vehicles can have problems.
