Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

This unique place has a style all its own. This is an old cabin we have decided to let other people enjoy how unique this place is. It’s back to the basics in a not so basic way. You’ll come here to detach from all the noise and just enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful backyard, grill hang out by the fire pit, eat dinner outside on the covered deck. The propane grill features a side burner to cook outside as well as grilling a couple of steaks. The inside has been tastefully updated.

Cabin is located in a quiet part of Athens just off of Loop 7 and FM 2495 and 2 miles from the Henderson County Fairgrounds. Lake Athens Marina/Boathouse Restaurant is 3 miles down FM 2495. Canton Trade Days & Splash Kingdom are a short 30 minute drive. Restaurants, scuba diving park, shopping plazas, concerts at The Texan are located in downtown Athens. Shopping centers/malls located in Tyler are approximately 30 miles away. The National RV Training Academy is 10 miles away in Athens.

Welcome to our serene lakefront studio cabin nestled in 10 acres of picturesque piney woods on Lake Palestine! Unwind in this tranquil retreat with an amazing view and beach access for swimming or fishing. Our cozy cabin features a comfortable king-sized bed with a futon couch. While our home is located next door, the cabin is separate, providing you with privacy and seclusion. There is plenty to do in the area including Canton Trade Days, the Piney Woods Wine Trail, or lake activities.

Corn Crib 2

The Corn Crib(2) cabin, the name corn crib isn't just the name, it's a part of the story and history of the cabins. The corncrib was originally used to dry and store corn. The cabin is located directly beside the two hot tubs on the property. The cabin has a large front porch with rocking chairs, that are perfect for enjoying the fire pit right in front of the cabin. There is a bathroom right inside the cabin, but the showers are in a unique setting, right next to the cabin, in a silo.

The Minimalist Cabin

The Minimalist Cabin is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with yourself or with a loved one. Secluded and quiet, the cabin is positioned on a tree line with pasture views and a small pond that holds water during the rainy season. With wild flowers in the spring, color changing trees in the fall and wildlife all year long, it is a nature lover’s dream.
