Guests say: “Wish we’d stayed longer!” “Spotlessly clean”, “Comfiest bed ever!” Tucked back in a peaceful, elevated corner of Weem, the Old Whisky Still is now a gorgeous vaulted cottage with beams. Very well equipped & the ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive or easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 11 am checkout & 5 star unobtrusive host !

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting.
