It was certainly a meeting place for all, since the original road to town was unpaved until the Second World War. There was always a coffee pot brewing in Mrs. Mackie's kitchen. Certainly many artists and writers sat in her kitchen sharing stories, only to be disturbed by the ringing of the store's bell when someone entered.

This little adobe home has built in charm and warmth. The living room looks at the mountains and the dining table in the kitchen looks out over a field with trees and and paths to walk by a running stream. The home is nestled down a little slope at the end of a gravel road and has the feeling of being away from everything. However, there are neighbors just a stone throw away. Each bedroom has its own workspace. The internet is fiber optic with 50 mbps.
