Traprain Cottage is a cosy, country cottage with private hot tub, garden, on-site sauna. Tucked away in a beautiful rural location on Carfrae Farm in East Lothian while only 40 minutes from Edinburgh. There is a licensed farm shop on site including a huge range of local products, teas, coffee and cakes. A perfect location to relax and explore the local area. This is a perfect base for exploring East Lothian, Edinburgh, Berwickshire and Northumberland. There are loads of activites for all ages, with plenty of beaches to enjoy, all within a short drive. The coach House

Beautifully renovated Coach House in our lovely East Lothian Garden, which was recently opened to the public as part of the East Lothian garden trail. Perfect for a cosy weekend break or as an ideal base to explore beautiful East Lothian, we are 10 minutes from the stunning beaches in Gullane, North Berwick and Tyninghame, 15 from Dunbar. The John Muir way is nearby for some fabulous cycling and walking and if you fancy a hill or two the Lammermuirs are nearby.
