The Bothy

The Bothy is a semi-detached cottage which offers open plan accommodation for couples in Norfolk who want to have a hideaway for two. This unique setting is combined with attention to detail to ensure you have a wonderful stay. This period cottage is situated at the end of the owners house which is surrounded by fields and woodland. So the deer are often in the garden. There is a large car parking area in front of the cottage and the cottage has its own access. As you walk into the well equipped kitchen, you will see the dining area.

Modern comfy & cosy Barn in a rural quiet location

The Barn is a grade 2 listed, detached thatched Barn. A fine balance of the old and new. Converted to a modern, 21st Century dwelling, it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The very well equipped kitchen has everything you'll need. The extending dining table seats 8. The bedroom has exposed beams, a reclaimed pine floor, ash staircase and by all accounts nice, comfy beds. fast wifi is included. The small private garden is just for you. The location is rural, peaceful, safe and quiet.

Self contained en-suite cabin near city & UEA

Lovely little self contained, heated studio cabin with double bed and en-suite shower room. This is a completely private space within our garden, but separate from our house. You have your own private entrance through the side gate and a little outdoor space to sit. Flexible work/dining space with a folding table which you can leave up or put down to make more room. We have decorated our cosy cabin with retro and vintage finds we have acquired over the years, with a quirky, clashing style :)

Just 10mins walk to the edge of the city centre with independent shops,cafes & bars. Perfect for visiting the city, our flat is located a stone’s throw from Norwich Cathedral, the Castle, Norwich Lanes, award-winning market and picturesque Elm Hill. Small, private South facing garden. Basic breakfast supplied with fruit.

This property is the front annex to the main house, therefore totally separate. It is rented out self catering with a kitchen/diner and seating for 6. The property has 3 double ensuite bedrooms, all with own key entry. The kitchen dining area is exclusively for guest use and includes tea/coffee, the property is on a main road and takes about 20 minutes to walk into the city. There are also frequent buses which go to the city centre and train station. The UEA & main Hospital are close by.

Nestled in the beautiful Norfolk countryside our holiday let is designed for 2 adults (sorry no children (over 2yrs old) or pets, but we can provide a cot/highchair for a baby). The Barn at The Old Ale House is completely separate from the main house, newly converted to accommodate just two people, with a mezzanine bedroom, open plan kitchen sitting room, and a modern shower room. The Barn has underfloor heating throughout, and private parking to the front along with a small private garden. Lyng is situated in the Wensum Valley close to a host of amenities riding stables,golf, fishing, the coast is within easy reach as is Norwich Dereham and Fakenham.
