The Telluride Bunkhouse

The Telluride Bunkhouse is designed to take you back in time to the rugged, western days of simple living. It is newly built yet has a cabin like feel and smell of old wood and low light ambiance. Everything was selected to purposely add a rustic appeal. The furniture and props are old, but everything that matters is clean. Sheets, mini fridge, and microwave are brand new. There is no TV or internet inside the bunkhouse. We are completely surrounded by woods, so trees limit access to satellites.

Situated on 10 wooded acres and surrounded by farms on rolling hills in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, our recently-updated 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the perfect place for your getaway. We are just 15 minutes from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, and 25 minutes from Massanutten. Take a walk on the trail, birdwatch, visit a neighboring vineyard, or chase sticks with your pup--- there are so many ways to unwind at La Casa del Bosque!

The cabin, originally built as a mountain family getaway, has recently been renovated as an Airbnb for those seeking outdoor activities and tranquility. The rustic cabin is also accompanied by a picnic shelter with a working rock fireplace, loft, and an additional outdoor bathroom (in season). Approximately 2 acres of field and partially wooded property are available to guests. No pets.

From this home, you will be in close proximity to great restaurants, wineries, breweries and many outdoor activities.

Tiny Tree House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This brand new, 550 square foot tiny house in the trees has everything you need, and is designed with a local feel. Minutes from George Washington National Forest and dry river. The cabin is only 20 minutes from downtown Harrisonburg. Note that this cabin has one bedroom downstairs, and one bed upstairs in the loft area accessible by ship ladder style steps. The loft is a sleeping area but does not have it’s own door.
