Drumkeen Cottage is a light filled, cosy, semi detached house situated on the Derry/Donegal border. It is an ideal location to explore Derry City, the Causeway Coast and Donegal. Derry City has an array of tourist attractions, a good variety of shops and leisure facilities. The nearest beach Lisfannon is a 15 minute drive away. Wild Ireland is just 5 minutes away. The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

We have breath taking views right from the doorstep, in a very scenic part of the countryside. We are just a short drive from Dunfanaghy with a number of beaches near by. Our private Hot Tub is included with unlimited use all year round to our guests. We have local recommendations in our guide book but we are available and happy to answer any queries you may have.

Stunning house, stunning sea views and gardens

An architecturally designed modern home on the Wild Atlantic Way, overlooking a wild bird sanctuary with an elevated bird hide at the bottom of the garden; binoculars and bird books in the library. The house is a short drive to Malinhead with its Northern Lights and its Star Wars' location and yet only 2 kms out from Malin Village. The beautiful Five Fingers Strand is a short drive or longer walk away. The hottub is also available for guests.
