Sail away to the Lake Escape on gorgeous High Rock Lake. A waterfront home halfway between Greensboro and Charlotte and close to Childress Vineyards. Furnished deck with gas firepit and grill and private dock with 4 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for guests to use! Beautifully decorated on the inside with high speed wifi and four TVs and a game room with darts, fooseball, skee ball,ping pong, a retro gaming center, and table top shuffleboard. Don't forget to relax on the hammocks or water floats!

There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. The Asheboro Zoo is a beautiful drive less than an hour away. Take the time to read the guest review below who says it all! Beautiful high rock lake front cottage !

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. High rock lake front very secluded area of the lake. Private pier and floating dock. We are on a shallow part of the lake at times if it’s dry enough or damns open out pier can be on the ground. 95% of them time we have good water. There are outside cameras and they are off during your stay, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, we leave the blink module in living room you can unplug during your stay just plug back in when you leave.

Stairs lead down to dock for fishing, swimming, relaxing, & kayaking. Three bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 10 guests. The history of High Rock Lake shines through with Cyprus Garden Waterskis and memorabilia from the last 50 years of ownership mounted within the cabin. Great living space inside and out with two beautiful decks along with a "sand boat" overlooking the lake. A gas fireplace adds "extra cozy" to the family room.
