On the Southern edge of the stunning Peak District overlooking picturesque Carsington Water, Manor Cottage is a 18th century Grade 2 Listed house with oak beams and log burning fire. Cosy, spacious and comfortable it has been recently restored to a high standard. The house comfortably sleeps 8 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. The Peak District is a magical place, lots of history and spectacular scenery. Whatever you like doing - eating, walking, cycling, shopping, sightseeing - this is the perfect base.

You’ll love my place because of its homely feel - lots of guests have commented that they feel at home in Chapel House, its fabulous aspect and its magical character. My place is perfect for couples and families. Its open-plan design cultivates holiday togetherness. Relaxation comes easily here. My village has two lovely pubs. Babington Cottage

Wirksworth is a small market town on the edge of The Derbyshire Peak District, an ideal location for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. The cottage, originally a quarryman's dwelling, has been fully refurbished and is maintained to a high standard. The accommodation: double and single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, shower room and TV lounge. Outside is a decked sitting area. Parking is in the courtyard of Babington House next door.

On a quiet side street but close to nearby independent shops, pubs, cinema and restaurants of Wirksworth. It is a great place to stay if you want a walking or cycling holiday or if you prefer a more leisurely break, taking in the stunning views of the Peak District.
