Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. If track is wet , we offer transportation down to the location.

It's a 15 -20min drive to the beautiful Mt Maunganui surf beach or downtown Tauranga CBD.

Stones Throw is a guest studio suite for two located in a hidden valley central to the greater Tauranga / Mount Maunganui / Papamoa area. Tucked behind the main dwelling, it sits stream side overlooking a swimming hole and backs onto a producing kiwifruit orchard, offering occupant privacy. Shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all within a short drive.
