Okefenokee Swamp entrance is with in 20 minutes and day trips to the Beach (St Simons Island and others) is less than an hours drive away. The Satilla River is a popular fish and boating waterway and a ramp is just down the street. Also within 5 miles is the Moccasin Creak Off-Road Park which hold large events annually.

There are a few trails around the property available for walking.
