This home is near the Cheaha mountains, 14 miles to Talledega Superspeedway , 6 mi. to Choccolocco Park and the Oxford Exchange mall, 3 nice antique malls, 18 mi to JSU, 8 miles to Cider Ridge Golf course, and very close to all the best local restaurants. The historic Waldo Covered Bridge is just below the cabin spanning the creek. Prospectors pan for gold in the creek. The farm is 20 acres of trees and wildflowers surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in AL is just up the road. Pinhoti Trail is 2 miles away. Chief Ladiga biking trail is nearby.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tammy’s Cozy Cabin is located minutes from Jacksonville and Piedmont, AL. It is close to biking, hiking, and horse trails. Jacksonville State University football, softball, and basketball. There are also wineries, museums, and kayaking. You can sit on the front porch or around the fire-pit and listen to the sounds of nature. It is located on the owners property but is secluded by trees. It had its own drive and self-check in.

With your own deck facing west towards the pond you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and the sounds of our animals around you. Please note that there is no wifi or cable tv in the getaway. So far everyone has had good cell signal.

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.
