De gemeenschap beschikt over een lokaal strand aan Apalachee Bay, samen met een goed onderhouden bootlancering. Shell Point ligt te midden van het St Marks National Wildlife Refuge. Wakulla Springs State Park ligt op enkele minuten afstand. Er zijn tal van wandelpaden en fietsroutes. Neem voor watersporten je kajak, boot en vistuig mee. Als je de vergeten kust van Florida wilt verkennen, is er geen betere plek om te verblijven.

Dit kusthuisje ligt vijf kilometer verderop aan een onverharde weg en ligt diep in het St. Mark 's National Wildlife Refuge. De omliggende wildernis zorgt voor een heldere hemel, donkere nachten en vredige eenzaamheid. Vrij uitzicht op de Golf zorgt voor rustige ontspanning op de grote afgeschermde veranda. Franse deuren in de woonkamer en slaapkamers zorgen ervoor dat alle kamers genieten van het zicht op de baai.

Ontsnappen, verkennen, ontspannen en opnieuw verbinden. Dit charmante 2 verdiepingen tellende huisje ligt verscholen in het bos van een buurt die langs de oevers van de Wakulla rivier loopt. Vrolijke veranda 's liggen hoog in de bomen van onze' boomhut 'en het huisje ligt op loopafstand van de rivier. Breng uw vakantie door op retraite of ga erop uit en verken de omgeving; het huisje is een snelle rit naar parken, rivieren, stranden en naar Tallahassee.

Enjoy the convenience of Crawfordville's town center at the Pelican Cottage (Sister to the wheelchair friendly Oyster Cottage). Cute, cozy, and comfortable. St. Marks, Shell Point, and Panacea are just south, and St. George Island & Apalachicola are one hour west. Enjoy seasonal fruit from the orchard. If you love coffee like we do there are two coffee trailers only a few minutes away, as well as a sit down coffee shop.
