Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. A small but very cozy apartment awaits its guests! Everything you need to feel comfortable - to cook and enjoy a meal, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, etc. You can reach Žagarkalns and Ozolkalns skiing tracks within a 5-minute walk, and it takes 7 minutes to reach Gauja National Park nature trails. A 5-minute drive to the city centre, Medieval oldtown, Cesis castle, etc. There is clothes dryer in an especially equipped wardrobe. Guaranteed parking in the yard. Feel like at home!
