Seahorse Tiny House in the Pines

Of our three tiny houses at Bugs in a Jar Farm, Seahorse in the Pines is our most popular. It offers the most seclusion and privacy for those wanting to get away from the crowds. As the name implies, it also offers deep shade most of the hot summer. Relax in the hammock under the pines or on the private screened porch, and enjoy the hilltop breeze. Seahorse has its own private outhouse, although the community bathroom and kitchen are a short walk away. There is private off-street parking nearby.

The Vardo - a charming bohemian caravan

Stay overnight in a vardo, a unique and charming bohemian-style caravan inspired by 19th century English and Irish shepherd's huts. This cozy space sleeps 2 people and includes a cooking facilities, indoor and outdoor seating and free firewood. The bath house has includes a modern composting toilet, solar shower stall and hand/dish washing station. We are located close to wineries, state parks with gorges & waterfalls, lakes, the vibrant city of Ithaca, Cornell University and Ithaca College.

Creekside Cabin

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds this bucolic cabin perched on the banks of pristine Cayuta Creek. Located on our 75 acre organic orchard and cidery, it is a short drive to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Finger Lakes wineries, state parks and gorges. Nature surrounds you: water rushing, a tree frog chorus, beavers swimming by, bald eagles fishing trout. Enjoy hanging out and eating meals on a wraparound deck overlooking the water. Tiny, romantic, timber frame

Unplugged (no WiFi) and peaceful. We provide breakfast foods. Unfortunately we cannot provide fresh breakfasts at this time, to keep our prices the same, with inflation. We hope to again in the future, if the current costs go down. A family built, tiny, timber frame. We are in a farming community, and several Amish farms dot our road. Please drive slow for children and animals. Please book both weekend nights during weekend stays, May-Oct. Thank you!

Enjoy tiny house living in a timber frame home. A private drive takes you to the secluded tiny house with farm pond and wooded and meadow trails just outside the door. The house includes a wraparound deck perfect for relaxing before heading into Ithaca. The house is located less than 20 minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cornell University and Ithaca College. Area hiking, waterfalls, wineries, restaurants and shopping are in easy traveling distance.

It is located only 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca, NY, 10 minutes to Cornell University, 10 minutes to Ithaca College, 15 minutes to Cayuga Lake and 30 minutes to the wine trails. There is a ton of hiking surrounding this property just minutes away, you can rent kayaks downtown to access Cayuga Lake and much more!!

Come stay in this unique, custom tiny home nestled near our barn and organic garden. Walk on the mowed paths in our back field, take a dip in Cayuta Creek. Meander down the road to visit Eve's Cidery. If you like road biking or running, this is the place. Just 30 minutes to Ithaca or Watkins Glen, this is a great, affordable place to hit all the highlights of the Finger Lakes area.

A Mini Retreat in K-Ville

Enjoy some fun! More than just a place to sleep, it's an experience. Dates you want not available? Ask me. K-Ville is a place where you can sleep and live in and among my art. It’s off the grid and It’s a tiny Victorian village. You can eat in the "cafe" relax in the "square" and sleep in your own private "Loft home" which sleeps one comfortably or two if you like to snuggle tight.
