Established in 1984 on the vacant land of the Old Idaho State Penitentiary, Idaho Botanical Garden is set on the Boise Foothills' base. Beautiful gardens, some great outdoor concerts, and fun historical walk through old penitentiary.
Beautifully manicured garden. There is an entrance fee and check out their website there is frequently activities and concerts May-October. From Thanksgiving until mid January, it becomes the Winter Garden Aglow and is lit up with thousands of Christmas lights.
