On approx. 4,200 hectares, peat bogs, wet meadows and special combinations of trees join to create a unique mosaic of nature. The Murnauer Moos bog south of Murnau is unmatched in Central Europe in terms of its size and uninterrupted surface, its landscape forms and the plants and animals found here. Many plant and animal species threatened by extinction have found a refuge in the largest peat bog on the edge of the Alps in Central Europe.

Naturschutzgebiet mit seltenen Pflanzen und schöner Aussicht bis zur Zugspitze. Lässt sich ideal mit dem Radl erkunden.
