A really funky place, lots of quirky art and little art shops all through a garden - then with a cafe to sit and have a coffee. The food isn't exceptional but the coffee is nice and the scenery is GREAT!!

This little spot is worth a visit. It is just a 5 min drive from us and has a cute Gallery on the property and has loads of character. Its probably not my top cafe for food but definitely for convenience, the beautiful garden and a good coffee.

L’Arté Café and Gallery is not to be missed when visiting Taupo. The café and gallery are both set in a magical, art filled garden, complete with an outside mosaic living room. Resident ceramic artist Judi Brennan’s work is evident everywhere and is sold exclusively from the gallery at L'Arté.
