Its a must visit. Remember doing it before noon to have the chance of seeing crossing ship, its locks in action and just enjoy the marvels of engineering.

This is an obligatory stop to be able to see the locks and learn about this marvelous work of engineering that never stops and how it interconnects 2 oceans and through which hundreds of ships transit with merchandise from and from all corners of the world.

The Panama Canal Miraflores lock is down the street from Casa Simone. It is one of the man made wonders of the world. They also have a restaurant with great views of the boats but it is quite pricey
